This was my last BASS trip of 2008. As you can see, we ended it with a BANG!!!
IMDEISSEL had expressed interest with my guiding service for months. So, like a man (with a man-card), I invited him with some (ring-leader-esque) requirements...
1. If you say you are going to go, then go...CHECK!!!
2. Please answer all correspondences promptly...CHECK!!!
3. Show up on time...CHECK!!!
4. Bring MAN-CARD...CHECK!!!
5. Swear this fishing hole and mystery bait to secrecy...CHECK!!!
6. Don't OUT-FISH your guide...OOPS!!!
In return, I made him a believer in BRAVO ZULU OUTDOOR GUIDED ADVENTURES!!!
I can honestly say IMDEISSEL accomplished all the requirements with ease with the exception of owning me in the fishing department. In the end, we had a blast. But don't believe me, believe the video.
The Kayaks...Wilderness PUNGO 100 and Malibu Mini X. They performed flawlessly.
IMDEISSEL put on a freaking clinic. He caught the biggest largemouth, smallmouth bass, and bluegill. I mangaged to catch some nice bass and the only northern pike.
I went on 3 bass trips this year. That is all. And all are documented on youtube. You can say my bass fishing trips went well this year.
And forgive me, but this fishing location and the bait we used will remain a mystery.

Wow... buckeye fans continue to amaze me... a net, with a 5 foot handle, on a kayak... couldn't reach the water with your hand? lol
Looks like you guys had a great time though, and that's what's important. I'm trying to talk myself into buying a kayak...

with i could do this in florida, but i would get eaten but a 11 foot gator every where you go.. and saltwater i dont much care for.

florida does offer a level of danger, but that has never stopped me. i have fly fished the glades on a few ocassions just walking/wading thru the the chest high grass. i startled a number of gators, and fortunately, i am still alive.
