Having visited this museum and memorial park, it is probably the single most moving experience of my life.
In wars, normally civil societies believe that anything can be justified...that can never be the case. Atomic bombs and the more advanced weaponry in production today can never and should never be justified. Very few nations today believe that cluster bombs are a moral weapon...There is no circumstance under which we can justify the suffering caused to innocents in Japan with this action.

This is a video of a museum to remember the dead people in hiroshima. It should remind us: "Never do such a thing again!"

There's a lot of dumb fucking comments here. The truth of the matter is that most of us alive today had nothing to do with anything on either side of the war. You can look at this and see the sad senselessness.In this we should remember history and not repeat it. I am "american" but I'm really not. I am a human and I am not defined by a country and neither are you. We don't need to atone for the past but understand it

@MrKain2009 not just america did wrong in the war. Yes they bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki and i agree that it was a horrible thing to but remember Japan attacked pearl harbour so they took lives too. i'm english but i hold no grudge against the germans though they bombed us. it was war every country played their part. its called WORLD war 2 not AMERICANS ONLY war 2

We ended the war we could have dragged out for more months and and more blood would be shed! And we asked many times for japan to surrender saying that we have nukes and we are going to bomb them if they dont surrender due to their arrogance the leader knew America had bombs but dident surrender and took the risk and they died

I would never wish this to happen to somebody but to a point it was necessary. If the bombs were not used and the American military would of had to invade the Japanese mainland it would of only resulted in millions of more deaths for both sides.
