gd stuff. there's a vid of the boeing747 and comments are disabled,but the poster claimed it was 1/3million lbs- what bollox- the plane was 40tonnes=40,000kg or 88,000lbs.I'd love to know what the actual weight equivalent is, or the equation to convert the downward force(weight) into the horizontal force needed to move the weight.It clearly takes less force to move a weight horizontally than it does to lift it against gravity,but I don't know the equation.
