  • I have 3 23d's good to know

  • @timothycor123 I just sold two blocks the beginning of Winter and that took me down to 4 blocks and 3 runners. I'm always on the look out for them because they were only used for one year on the 1964 Simplicity and Allis-Chalmers large frame tractors and I'm always being hit up for parts or whole engines. I like the later models with real bearings, but these are still tough old engines when properly cared for. Cheers!!

  • what is the oldest engine you have, and your most prized possession (small engine) thanks really love the channel

  • @grizzlyglock1 It HAS to be my 1936 Maytag Model 92. Mainly because I've wanted one for so many years. Next to that would be my 1934 Briggs Model Y kick start, then the Briggs BR6, then my Monkey Wards Airline Charger from the 1940s, the Wisconsin 7.25hp, then my two 5S Briggs, Sears 500 (Briggs WMI), then the rest. Coolest engine I ever had was a little 1/2hp that developed 1.5hp with an integral reduction gear. Was a Reo...different for sure. Like an old 225 Chrysler slant 6..lol

  • Good point! I'd call them bearings, you're right. The Onan you helped me with has similar metal bearings.

  • @mrwiggles2 Speaking of that old Onan, hows the progress??

  • I have a video of my model 24 I would always trade or barter

  • Hewy Zippo,

Assembly lube works great as well. Great tip, keep up the good work.

  • Hey sooooo, got any ideas why the simplicity landlord on ebay has weak spark??? Thinkin of buying it...shoot me an email at corso.mark@yahoo.com

  • Nice video man, keep up the good work, i like the quick tip videos, can you do a quick tip about if you have no spark on a 23D?

  • @ZippoVarga Going well, I'm just awaiting some extra funds to get it all back together. Have the block, valves and crank all ready, new .010 bearings pressed in.... I'm trying to do this while flying under the "infra-wife" radar. She can sense me spending money before I even crack open my billfold, and credit cards leave a paper trail!!! LOL!!!!!!

  • Cool quick tip. Peace
