On the night before advance voting, the Young Greens of Canada will draw 685 kilometers of chalk lines to remind Canada to vote.

Follow these Green lines on April 22nd, 23rd and 25th and follow them, ID-in-hand, to the advanced polls... and change our country.

And the YG's need your help: visit younggreens.ca/greenline
Young Greens Facebook page
Twitter: #greenline @younggreenscan #gpc #elxn41
to get lined up with chalking crews, and to learn how to vote.

*NO CHALKING IS ALLOWED ON POLLING STATION PROPERTY. PLEASE ONLY CHALK ON MUNICIPAL SIDEWALKS AND STREETS*

  • Love the idea, but you should make sure there are arrowheads from time to time on the line, or you might draw voters AWAY from the polling stations instead, to your house, or wherever you started the line from!

    Just sayin'

  • w00t w00t. Skateboard shot is sweet.

  • We did this again for the Ontario Provincial Elections last week, it was fun! We had so much fun again, that we're gonna keep doing this every federal/provincial election now.

  • Very cool idea! We need the younger, brighter, environment friendly youth to chase out the OLD worn-out has-been. Keep up the good work!

  • whats the song called?

  • i was helping some guys with this in downtown ottawa last night haha

  • Awwww.... in 1989, on the eve of Earth Day in Ottawa, we organized as a big group of Ottawa teens in the Student Action Network for the Environment (SANE) got together and chalked up all over downtown to raise awareness of Earth Day and to draw people to the Hill. Pretty darn cool to see this happening, 22 years later. <3

  • Fantastic!

    Vote green.

  • Get out the youth vote! The youth can change this country! Let's vote for tomorrow, today!

  • LOVE THIS!

  • Get Ya Vote On!
