November 18, 2009 our Al from Save the Perishing was part of a national gospel outreach where 170,000 copies of a special 150th anniversary addition of Charles Darwin's Origin of Species were distributed. Its a special addition because it also includes a 50-page introduction, written by Ray Comfort. In the introduction Ray presents some fascinating facts about Darwin and then goes into refuting the THEORY of evolution. The most special feature about this book is the fact that Ray also included a very clear Gospel presentation.

Our team went to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and distributed 1,000 copies of the book. This was a great opportunity to actually talk to students and faculty. The book was an easy bridge to talking about spiritual matters, and then on to talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The goal of the project was to get the Gospel into the hands of the students and faculty and by GODS grace we boast in HIM in accomplishing the mission.

Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures 1 Corinthians 15:3-4

If I was there I would have given each student a dollar and torn out the pages and given them the book back.
