@ZyonFyre Self-respect maybe? Bill Maher wants people to believe things based on facts and evidence rather than fairy tales and blind conjecture. He may come off as a jerk sometimes but that doesn't mean he's wrong. Personally I'd rather live in a society based on reality no matter what that reality might be. At least you know where you stand in a world like that. Basing your life on a fantasy makes principles and rules meaningless.

@GabrielDhalaman There are plenty of people out there already providing the longcuts; they're called scientists. Philosophy and religion are not the same thing. Go grab a dictionary so you can look them up and see what I mean. But I applaud your use of the word "scientifical" to describe The Disclosure Project and the Moon Rising documentary, i.e. they have the appearance of science but aren't actually scientific. Other appropriate words would be "pseudoscience" and "bullshit".

Its people like this Icke guy that undermine serious questions about government and elite intervention into the lives of the ordinary citizen. There is a wealth of information out there from reputable people exposing massive holes in what we are told by people in authority. Icke is not one of these reputable people. The sooner people stop listening to his crap and actually investigate the facts avaliable the more chance we have of halting the march of Facism not just in america but worldwide
