Special Tribute to Dad (+) and Mom on their Wedding Anniversary...

January 20, 2010 marks the 1st year of our parents' wedding anniversary with the other spouse no longer around... While it feels a bit awkward to continue "celebrating" the occasion, we, their children, prefer to forever remember this special day when two beautiful people were brought together by love and marriage more than four decades ago and vowed to each other to have and to hold, from that day forward, for better and for worse, for richer and for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do they part... This video, which used their theme song as background music, commemorates their special bond as husband and wife... :-)

Thank you so much for the song " My Own Peculiar Way ". This song was composed by the country singer Willie Nelson but the song was beautifully sang by the great Perry Como. Como's version was so popular in the Phillipne radio around 40 years back. God Bless your Ma and Pa also.

@carlos071852 - yes, we had a long-playing album of Perry Como which had this song (The Scene Changes, 1965), hence, this version was what we are familiar with... Great composition of Willie Nelson, simple words that say a lot about unconditional love... :-)

@terrie3348 - i had a cousin of mine search for this perry como version for me, and i am not certain from which site did he get it... i then just recorded it from the link he provided me... will try to find that link that was emailed to me in 2009... ;-)

I did not mean to watch this video. I was just trying to look for this title which happens to be one of my wife's favorite songs. But as I was listening to the song while looking at the pictures, I got goose bumps. I could actually feel the love between these two beautiful people. So inspiring.
