  • love this....I need more and more.......love music .....people such as lil Jimmy S.....your the best babie....

  • @IBcutiepie Thank you so much for watching. Please stay tuned to this channel. The real credit goes to Mr. Scott's wonderful partner and wife, Jeanie Scott, who had the faith in me to entrust me with this important musical icon.

  • It is one of my greatest interview opportunities of my 45 year career of doing this. I rank this one right up there with Dizzy Gillespie and Miles Davis. Little Jimmy Scott has no rival in what he does. He is simply the greatest. Period. Thank you and thanks to Jeanie Scott for giving me this opportunity.

  • Just found this guy. He's awesome!

  • Faith In Time - The Life of Jimmy Scott by David Ritz.

  • @SoulSister66

Are their any available copy's of the album "Falling in love is wonderful" that Little Jimmy Scott recorded with Ray Charles ?

  • just read the bio of doc pomus - and there's much about that guy. so i got curious - and here he is! i like this "multi-mediaism"

  • Seems like just another video interview, but forget it, this is an icon, captured for us to treasure on youtube.

I interviewed Little Jimmy early on for my book Death of a Bebop Wife and the "person" who he was with, at the time, kept him in the dark. Thank God Jeannie, magical wonder and icon in her own right, treasures the wonderous talent of her darling. God wants us all to revere and treasure the purity, tenderness, heartbreak and soul of a surviving American Treasure. I loooove this man

  • shivabala,

Jimmy moved from Newark back to Cleveland in 1996 for 10 years before we moved to Las Vegas in 2006.

This interview was actually September 2006.
