Maize Mirchi presents Sa Re Ga Ma Pella 2011 - South Asian A Cappella Invitational

Sa Re Ga Ma Pella is Maize Mirchi's South Asian a cappella invitational concert that began 3 years ago. We began this event to showcase South Asian a cappella groups from across the nation. At the first SaReGaMaPella Mirchi performed alongside Northwestern's Brown Sugar, Case Western's Dhamakapella, and Carnegie Mellon's Deewane. We host it in Ann Arbor every other year. In the years Mirchi doesn't host it, the event travels around the nation. Deewane hosted the event in 2010, where Deewane and Mirchi performed with Georgia Tech's Taal Tadka, and Dartmouth College's Dartmouth Taal.

This year the show was held in Ann Arbor on December 3rd, 2011 in Angell Hall Auditorium B! St. Louis Astha and Spartan Sur joined us for an awesome night of music!
