Hey guys, I want to apply the spray-on Truck Bed Coating to the fender flares on my 04 Ford Ranger. They're plastic, and painted the same color as the body. Any special preparation to make sure it adheres and lasts on plastic? I was planning on sandint, cleaning, applying a coat of Duplicolor adhesion promoter, and then a couple coats of the bed coating, but I'm not sure.

Just did my bumpers with the Duplicolor Bedliner spray and it came out great. Nice texture. These bumpers are plastic and usually prone to turning grey/white from oxydation!

this stuff is not what i expected... put this in my truck bed and followed ALL the instructions. about 2 weeks later i slid my motorcyle ramp in the back and made a huge long scratch all the way up the floor. isnt very durable and flakes off in places. wish i hadn't waisted my time and money with this and just got a spray on rino liner.

@americanman911 Sure we do and Dupli-Color is the DIY side of automotive paint and coatings. Whether it is an aerosol for trim, brackets or accessories, our Truck Bed Roller Kit or Paint Shop for the body we have it covered.

I'm wondering if I can use this on the floorboards of my trucks cabin.
