Jerry Lordan wrote a number of big hits for others, most notably Cliff Richard and The Shadows, both together and separately. This song was a minor hit in the UK but he never made it really big as a performer. Pity- he had a nice voice.

he wrote the Instrumental "Apache" that Jorgen Ingman and The Shadows both had a hit with.
