Vegemite is made from the leftovers from beer production.

Most American adults don't like Vegemite because they're so used to everything being so very sweet. I mean, even a Big Mac tastes like sugar.
Start em young & they'll be fine.

I think vegimite is a bit like coke...if you haven't grown up with it, it probably tastes weird!

Try getting Vegemite on Ebay, also the NZ Marmite made by Sanitarium is very tame compared to the UK Marmite made by Unilever UK.(Both totally different products). If you are addicted to UK Marmite you've done well.

A-HA, just as I thought! Kids always like Vegemite, especially toddlers. These kids will now grow up to be adults eating loads of the stuff.

Cute kids and cute vid. I've been wanting to try that stuff but it's pretty expensive on the internet (when you figure in the shipping...)especially since I'm not sure if I would like it or not. What does it taste like?

Kids always like it, That's why Australians can eat it... "Start `em young." I wish Vegemite was available in the US, all I can find is Marmite which is a UK/NZ version of Vegemite. I am now addicted to Marmite, and by default, quite possibly Vegemite! :)
