Thus, Japanese version's Anderson is infinitely > English version's Anderson.

@windfielded This is the version that the author wanted, not the GONZO version. This was overseen by Hirano himself, and the OVA was far more faithful to his manga. So no, the version you speak of was the weaksauce GONZO version.
