McCain deserved to lose. He and Palin chose to use a divisive, racially motivated, hate filled rhetoric campaign strategy that showed the world, and the sane Americans, the worse side that America has to offer.

I support McCains plans because he wants to spend money for energy development. For example, France has 50 nuclear plants and does not depend on Middle Eastern countries. The bottom line is that why Americans should import energy from the countries that do not like you much. You should have your own energy and put American labor in that business. He also supported tax cuts to promote economy.
