How they got it on a kid's show, you say? Half my childhood was filled with figuring out the "adult" jokes they put in kid's programs.

Actually, there are Freudian implications behind the umbrella. He carries around an umbrella because his overprotective mother made him carry one, after his father died of pneumonia.
Freudian excuses don't always have to do with sex.

She says Freudian. Fourteen wouldn't make any sense. And Yes they would. Childrens television and movies are full of things like that. They do it so adults who's kids make them watch it can laugh at jokes the children don't understand. I know from expirience.

Very true. I really dislike the show itself (give me the Animated Series or the New Adventures anyday!), but this one line was excellent. I'm with you as to how in the blazes they managed to get a phallic joke on!! :P
