LOL $15K USD hope it can do more than just walk and talk i meant how is just because it is smart and have sensors cost more than a car which is more usefull? it better cook, do laundry, clean my house etc i could buy tons of useful things with that much money and have a lot left for a nice vacation but i guess it is only for professional use still too expensive.

im on my way to college next fall for mechatronics engineering would you happen to know a way for me to get in contact with Aldebaran Robotics? I would love to be able to communicate my ideas with them and learn new things as well. Please let me know.

Even RC cars are more expensive considering that doesn't have intelegent.

That's INITIAL cost, Turgut. The $5k USD pricepoint is reasonable once production has ramped up.
