I drove my C5 Z06 from San Diego to Santa Cruz, AVERAGING 34mpg, while along the way "comparing horsepower" with a Lotus Esprit, T/A, C6 Z06, Supra TT, Chevelle 502, EVO IX, etc., etc...
Eat that Hybrids. You CAN have your cake, AND eat it too.

hahahah 6speed LS2. cant be beat. friend has a 06 witha super charger and cam Headers and it puts out 689 hp and gets 29 mpg. lol. drive it to the race track kick ass and drive it home with the air on.lol. I miss my o1 vette big time. I think i am about ready to buy another new Vette. with gas prices you cant go wrong..

Having your cake and eating it too, big power when you want it and enough gas mileage to shame the hell out of japan. My vr4 gets barely 20 mpg on the highway.
