Me playing the Rock Organ of "Oye Como Va" by Carlos Santana on the keyboard Yamaha PSR-1500.
Played along with a midi-file.

Actually, the organ part is a bit repetitive at the beginning, but at 2:09 the solo and the actual fun of playing this song starts.

  • @pajiffy I'm afraid that's not my fault, gotta ask my parents why that is!

  • @xHellstrikerx Lol !

  • good solo but the song is from Tito Puente not Carlos Santana. He also made a cover.

  • @vimanue You're welcome. I would really like to hear it. :)

  • @xHellstrikerx Tks a lot man, I'm gonna play it tonight with our band (August 19) and if that get recorded, I gonna answer it to you.

  • @vimanue Almost the whole solo is build on the pentatonic Am-scale. So you just have to play the scale while going down. So did I.

I know it's fast, but with the right fingering and a bit of practice it will be the easiest way to play a solo, doesn't matter which key.

You can search the internet or youtube for tutorials on pentatonic scales, if you don't know how to play them. Trust me, it's very easy.
