Both tops in their field, they were friends even though out of contact at the time of MJ's death. If he would have lived they would have eventually done a duet together and all would have seen that they were in harmony, not in competition. Madonna paid tribute to him both when he was alive with Like A Virgin/Billy Jean live in 1985 and after his death with this song. She is first class. The light she shines on him reflects back on her and makes her brighter. He is gone. Cherish Madonna.
