  • Why does the up arm "with the hand at the hip" go backwards and the support arm "with the hand on the ground" go forward first? Is there a reason why they don't go in the opposite directions during the initial drive out of the stance? It would seem to be wasted motion?

  • I like the set up good angles, but in the NFL combine athletes have to stay set for three seconds. This is a rule that was instated this past Feb. in the 07 Combine. I like to get out as fast as possible to keep my nervous system from going to sleep. This rule really caught some athletes that were coached well.

  • i see what your saying but if you leave your hand on the ground alone and not swing it back first then your body will be unbalanced. the negative arm stride seems useless in general but helps stabilize the body

  • dude these guys know what they are doing.
