Just a look at my Samsung Galaxy S which i have rooted and lag fixed. It really Nice and in my View better than the iphone and yes i have had an iphone 3gs and iphone 4 so i can say THAT LOL
Im not a fanboy of any phone so please no apple boys slagging me off its just my view after owning both phones.
So please take a look and for the root and lag fix ill put a link
For Root --- http://www.multiupload.com/JHIFK9K80P
place the update zip on internal sd card (VERY IMMPORTANT DO NOT UNZIP THE FILE JUST LEAVE AS UPDATE.ZIP ) then turn phone off and reboot in recovery mode. Hold volume up and power and home button until the samsung boot screen appears the let go and you will boot to recovery.
then use volume key to pick second option down apply update via .zip and use
home key to select.
It will take seconds and your phone will reboot and thats it your rooted.
you will see a new app called superuser permission, you dont have to run this just leave it.
for the lag fix ----- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=7587405&postcount=417
download the update.zip from here and again follow the same steps as above. remember to remove the first root update zip first.
when you install this update zip you will have an app called MCR scripts which you run. its will give you three options. lagfix1024 lagfix 512 removefix
I recomend the first one if you have plenty a memory available. Make sure you do have enough before selecting one. it will run a console with some txt in but just let it go. It may want you to click and accept permission at first, if it does just allow. You must not touch the phone once it starts to do the fix just leave, you will see some txt scroll up the screen after 5 to 10 mins and then it will say complete. MAKE SURE IT SAY'S COMPLETE BEFORE YOU QUIT OUT.
Once thats done you are done.
Like in the video my benchmark score went from 800 to 2000 after the fix
Good luck with it and enjoy and remember to do it carfully as im not responcable for any damage you cause to your phone if you do not do it right
