1. Tour De Force Documentary Part 1 (Elton John - October - December 1986)

For all you weird and wonderful subscribers out there, I recently purchased this amazing piece of footage of one of my favourite tours of Sir Elton John! This documentary features unseen rehearsals and also unseen concert footage from the first night on the tour and other nights (probably some from Melbourne and some from Sydney!) We also see some of the fantastic camaraderie between Elton, his band and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra with some typical Elton gestures (buying everyone a bottle of champagne before the opening night's show to say thank you) But, we also have references to his voice loss and also a moody side to Elton involving a negative review of the show!

I believe that this is one of the best Elton documentaries ever made with interviews from most of the band members, orchestra members and John Reid who all give a very insightful account of the experience!

@ElliSun Then you haven't been to a show this year. At the MSG show I went to this year he was using head-tone on Don't Let the Sun and Take Me to the Pilot. Overall, he's hitting more notes today overall than the period of 2001-2005. Also, the tracks from the Union are great live and makes you appreciate his "newer" voice (to be honest, today he sounds like a deeper toned version of 1984 in many places).
