  • Correct. Windows 7 will be a bit more streamlined with MS allowing the end user to add certain features rather then have them installed by default. I love XP, and I love Vista. I see Microsoft truly moving things in the right direction, and giving us some new and exciting features. I tend to agree with ratzhit on this one. Windows has the features that I want...more so then OS X. Wondering what Snow Leopard will bring to the plate.

  • I think if you take a look at the history of the two lines of operating systems (OS9- X and WIndows XP - 7) then you'll see that Microsoft has stolen a lot from Macs and even more from Linux systems.

That and what you dismiss as "fancy effects" are ridiculously useful tools that change the way people look at computers...

  • The second concept is official longhorn concept for longhorn, version of windows between Windows XP and Windows "Blackbomb". The project was canceled in August 2004. After that microsoft start what is now vista.

  • Macintosh ain't got SHIT on Windows Seven. Even though from my previous experience, I believe that Macintosh will copy everything which Windows Seven will have and release it as their own but with a few other "fancy effects", which is the main difference between Microsoft and Macintosh. (Excluding that you can't do ANYTHING on a Macintosh except play 4 different games that were released 4 years ago on a normal PC, and BARELY surf the web without the system crashing)

    Overpriced bullocks=MAC

  • It looks extremely nice :). Microsoft is doing research, by my opinion a lot more than apple and linux. No wonder it has 90% of the pc market.

  • Hopefully they will strip it down with the option to install what you want. I heard rumors it will be more lightweight than Vista or about the same. And it will not look like anything shown in this video.

  • how many RAM needs to run? 16 gb?
