If anyone is interested, I wrote this fanfare for the KU trumpet ensemble under Steve Leisring and dedicated it to my father, Marine Sgt. Gary "Shoots" Schutza- 1st Engineering Battalion, 1st Marine Division. He served in the Korean War from September 1950 to September 1953 as a 1375 Demolitions Expert.
Great Work! I appreciate all the effort that went into working this up. It sounds just like I thought it would when I wrote it. A little "Honky" in the beginning leading to a big Hollywood ending. Just the way I wanted it. Many, Many thanks for great work!
