  • @ltpigeon9302 yeah i believe it was a 757. I want to go back there now

  • kewl im going on feburay 5th

  • awesome! have fun

  • Cool video, thank you! So which side of the plane do I want to sit when arriving/leaving Lihue? Left or right?

  • Landing there you want to be on the left side like i was, otherwise you'll see nothing buy sea. Plus you get to see some of the other islands. It was night when i left Lihue so i couldn't see that much.

  • Jan. 15th 2012 Ill be there :))))

  • A pilot who sits behind the wings???? Doesn't he/she even get Econo+? Yes, the left side (A seats) is better than the right side, except in the summer when Kona winds make a southern landing, so sit on the right side (F). This is a 757 (except Alaska and Westjet who fly 737's). It is a great place to visit (I go there 2-3 times a year). Best seats on a 757 is 8A or 9A (to catch a glimpse of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa or 8F/9F in summer (where you can film Kapa'a) on the way to the actual landing.

  • Wooow! beautiful

  • @koochy79 No.. they can "haul out of there like a screeching eaqle" because they are meant to. They are by design "overpowered" so they are not "overpowered" because it is intended to have a high thrust-to-weight ratio. For hot and high conditions. Now, if there was a 757 rolling around with some GE90-115B's strapped to it, that would be overpowered because they're not intended to have 220,000lb of thrust. They are powerful, yes. Not overpowered.

  • @scaremenga Actually there is in this case. The Pratt and Whitney Engines in those 57's are the same they have in ALL 767's (200,300.400) So the 757 being lighter in weight can haul out of there like a screeching eaqle

and think nothing of it. That's also how they are able to take off out of SNA with a full boat...

  • @INOWHATUDIDLASTSUMMA I was joking, dumbass.

  • @scaremenga no i went there for 12 days dumbass.

  • I was born and raised on Kauai. I can't wait to go back. I've been homesick ever since I moved to New Hampshire. I miss the friendly atmosphere the most. But especially my friends and family. I realized I took it for granted when I moved here. I hope you enjoyed it. :)

  • @koochy79 There's no such thing as an overpowered aircraft. Each aircraft is designed with it's purposes in mind.
