Guys and girls: The video has not been sped up. Why would I bother? I had a GPS on this run and got to about 40 knots maximum speed. This is about 20-25knots of wind. I have done a max on other days of 48.5knots. At one stage I had the unofficial world record. Now the record is over 50knots. The board is a specially designed purpose built speed board.
Yes. But back in 2005. I did 44.8knots average over 500m. At the time, the official record was 42knots. I had witnesses, and a valid GPS log. It was talked about quite a bit at the time. In a few magazines etc.
