Geometry Rap (y=mx+b)

This is a math project I did with Danny about y=mx+b..ENJOY ..comment and rate..

Omar:- Yo yo yo we hear youre doin bad in math..so were here to help..you know..with the grades and stuff
Danny:- Just sit back and relax yo.
Omar:- YEA...Yo so were here today
Danny:- Here to tell you about GEOMETRY
Omar:- And today were gonna tell you how y=mx+b.they all got different meanings so listen up to me
Danny:- Yea its y=mx+b is slope intercept form.
Omar:- Were not here just to inform
Danny:- Yea, y=mx+b, ,M =the slope, theres no reason to mope, so just keep up your hopes and youll pass the test NO JOKE!
Omar:- To find the slope is easy, its called rise over run AKA x2-x1 over y2-y1
Danny:- So a line with a slope of 3 can be, because of 3-0 over the 5-4.yea.its that simple..just to inform!
Omar:- And then theres B the letter before C which is the letter before D yea B!...the y-intercept the very important y-intercept if you forget the y-intercept youll fail the test and youll never be the best.
Danny:- Yea, cuz the y-intercept is the y-value when the x is the zero..yea
Omar:- So if X was zero and Y is 10.10 is the y-intercept and THATS THE END!
Danny:- y-intercept, dont forget the y-intercept unless if you want to fail the test.
Omar:- Now we have our M and Ban invasion to this linear equation.
Danny:- To find M on a table is simple..just check how much you go back in y... And youll be fine!
Omar:-To find the y-intercept on a table is EASY..just go back and divide with X and Zero and thats the y-intercept its that simple DONT BREAK A SWEAT!
Danny:-So no more Fs and Ds.just As and Bs
Danny:- WHOA!

WRONG!!!!! You are correct that they did get the slope formula incorrect,but what you say above is incorrect also. Based on what they said, you wouldn't mutliply by -1; instead, you would raise the quotient to -1. In other words, take the reciprocal.

you got the formula for finding slope wrong because if you do x2 - x1 over y2 - y1 you have to multiply it by -1 it's supposed to be y2-y1 over x2-x1
