Aircrew and maintainers of the 302nd Airlift Wing, Air Force Reserve Command, performed annual certification on the Miltiary Airborne Firefighting System, or 'MAFFS' program. The certification, conducted this year at Tucson International Airport, Arizona, allows military aircrews and maintainers, together with their U.S. Forest Service counterparts, to remain ready and vigilant in the event a mobilization occurs to fight wildland fires from the air.
