  • @formula6t6, This a song composed by the mexican composer Maria Grever, and even though this is a funny version in english, lyrics in spanish has more romantic sense.

  • Ha, my dad used to sing the opening verse all the time. I've never heard this song other than my dad singing it. I had no idea of its origin. I thought Rosita and Manuello were people he knew.

  • Tony was a good singer. Just didn't have much

    of a voice. He did star in a B'dway musical

    though. "Oh, Captain!" Great songs

    by an Oscar winning team.

    I had a college roommate w/ a coat just like

    Tony's. Wasn't in the 20s; it was the 50s.

    In either case a long time ago.
