@manofaction2828 Seen the video where they get a video screen feed from a cat's optic nerve? Imagine if you had an involuntary brain implant that let people see and hear what you do, and what you are thinking. Wonder if this professor realizes how many people have been abused by the government in the name of wonderful little programs such as hers. The cutting edge research and technology in this field is not done publicly and is far in advance of this.

Is anyone else upset about this. Do you not see the moral implications? Yes, lie detection. It's great for finding out who the terrorists are but how about an HR department not hiring you because of some "possible" risk factor. Or advertising firms marketing to your brains inner-most preferences? Is no one else appalled by this? We are human, we are one, but our separateness is what makes life so interesting

Edit content, too long; I would like to see a role model for motivational instruction. But, the content is inspiring. So, when will this research impact public education and truly change the way children are taught? When will this technology replace the LNCB accountability testing that is killing the creative, innovation, thinking minds of the future? When, as Jeannette Wing from CM says, will computational thinking be a fundamental skill added to reading, writing and arithmetic?
