The Magnolia Electric Co. demo is a hell of an album to stumble across when you are down and out (which is exactly where I was when my wife and two kids left during my first year of law school). Rarely has one man and a guitar put so much raw feeling into a series of songs. I went and saw his band the first chance I could, and it wasn't what I was expecting--but his self-consciousness on stage only adds to his authenticity. Glad I found his music and glad you posted this video.
