I realize a lot of young folks post here, but when I hear people call Etta ungrateful, its silly--who came first? who's singing who's shit?
Beyonce overdoes it-listen to the two side by side and you'll see. No subtly in B's version. Some people call that 'more emotional', I call it overdoing it
Plus you need to close your eyes when you listen: looking at Beyonce, especially in that movie scene impairs judgment-let's face it, looks-wise its all B
But she does a good job
