There's a difference between effective aggression and just plain aggression. Throwing punches in the air to set up other punches or blind your opponent is good. Throwing punches in the air because you're wildly missing your opponent is bad.

I thought Gerry couldn't pull the trigger anymore but I was wrong. He showed some nice strategic defense here & his offense relies on precision & timing so that he can conserve his stamina wisely. The reach advantage & stamina factor is on Ponce's element. I have a formula on how to defeat both Gerry & Ponce.

i agree with you... it is not about race or something like this... yes, penalosa showed his great defense and techniques and for me he is the best defensive fighter but his offense is poor and these made him lost this game

I am not Mexican but until now I see Ponce de Leon wining the fight. Yeah Penalosa has hit him clear in some occasions but PDL was the busiest man.

whats going on with judge?no need to ask you know what happened..it just proved that filipinos are really mighty..by the way de leon were hit in vital parts like temple and weak part of jaw where human will fall whenever hit in that part..thats some good sh*t you took there de leon. you and jm marquez probably sharing whatever you guys taking.. peace..^^

@randski0303 judges count punches in the air for sure. jerry hit clear solid punch in the face of ponce. ponce throws a lot of punches in the air. what is going on with the judges?
