  • Superbly played and fine singing. Very happy memories of singing this and 'The King shall Rejoice' for Pope Paul VI as a young alto choirboy...

  • Isn't it wonderful that a coronation expresses the hope of a nation that goodness and human understanding should prevail? In a difficult world, this bliss. Bliss in the World should be a coming together of everyone in hope and love, regardless of where you come from and whatever creed or colour you happen to be. God bless us all. That is surely the point and the hope of the coronation service, in its splendor....God Save the Queen!

  • i like the crescendo effect

  • Beautiful! Where was this filmed? The church is stunning.

  • *conductor

  • This is so pretty for an "anthem" - sang it as an alto at school and it's still one of my favourites. I agree with the comment below, though... some late entries by the choir... the conducter could probably have been a bit tougher on them!

  • At 2:13 orchestra and singers are clearly not together, for instruments do arrive in time, while choir as usual is late :) Terrific music, anyway....

  • nice balance- straightforward performance, that theorbo is cool!
