I know not every Best Buy is bad, but you guys need to come to grips with reality and telling me I'm dumb for not liking Best Buy. Crazy.

  • Best Buy is not awesome, I will admit. I have worked there for years, and I dislike them very much. But truth be told, you bought the protection plan, you went to Best Buy to price match, but without looking at their policies at all. If you researched their policies before hand, you would of not had this issue. I had customers like you everyday. Their policies are written very clearly at every store.

    I hate Best Buy, and I am not defending them. I'm just saying you should learn how to read.

  • i called my local news stations in hopes that they might do a story. I post email address of news stations on Yelp so that people who have bad experiences with Best Buy can spread the word.

  • And I'm not defending Best Buy. They are a big corporation who can defend themselves. However, I am saying that your arguments are laughable and your outlook is skewed. Learn a little bit about "statistics" before ranting. You sound silly.

  • Not everything is covered under a service plan. If you drop your shit in a pool, or your cat pisses on it, that is not something we can prevent. If you are a dumb shit and ignore advice on quality anti virus and you get yourself a rogue virus, that's YOUR fault.

    If something goes defective, we have your back. If you bought accidental and you cracked your screen, we got you. If you ran your computer over three times, you're a stupid fuck.

    We charge money for cables because, in a business, there is a thing that is important to aim for. It's called profit. It's how a business stays open to sellyou things in the first place. For fucks sake, we sell computers and TVs at little to no mark up.

  • Their are differences between HDMI cables some of which include in wall rated for cables CL2. Example if you use a non CL2 in the wall and they either cause a fire or are damaged during a fire an insurance companies will not cover the damages.FYI in California it is against the law to use non CL2 cables during install. Buy whatever you from where ever but don't say there isn't a difference until you do some research.

  • forget best buy, The employees are trained to push all those worthless service plans that we all know they dont honor.

  • You know this is a breach of code of conduct that you signed when you took the job. Great way to bite the hand that feed you. No negative comments, just go get another job.
