Always Find You ~ The Charming Family (OUAT)

NOTE: I've got a lot to say about this one so please read.

SONG: "Always Find Me Here" by Transit. Purchased off iTunes. I heard it on an episode of another new tv show I like a few months back and loved it. I searched YT to see if it had been used and got no hits for fan videos. Of course, it took me a month to finish this so now it has, LOL.

DEDICATION: For hurleybirdprod's wishlist (http://www.youtube.com/user/hurleybirdprod). Hon, believe it or not, this has always been meant for you. I saw your list right after you posted it. I'd wanted to vid this show and saw that one of your wishes was for more videos about it. As you did not specify what type of video you'd like, I thought about it and this family -- Snow, James, Emma and Henry -- really is the heart of the show. Since you and I have many ships/shows in common, I felt sure you would enjoy a video centered on them. Sorry it took me a month to finish but I am, as you know, a perfectionist and I wanted it to be as perfect as I could make it with as much of a variety of scenes as possible.Your recent post on the preview makes me really hope you will love the finished product. I know you had a rough year starting over on a new account (which I think has been alleviated by your AHS success), too, so I hope this makes you smile and know I appreciate you both as an artist and as a YT friend. *hugs* T

ABOUT: I call them "The Charming Family" ~ Snow, James, Emma and Henry. I love the message this show carries about what makes a family and how often there is much more under the surface about why things happen than you might realize. As an adopted child, I relate, too. And, I know my birth mother wanted to give me my best chance, not because she didn't care. So, I understand Henry/Emma. Thankfully, my mother is not an evil queen but the best thing that ever happened to me. So, I got a double gift, something I am extremely thankful for each year, especially at Christmas. :D

EFFECTS: I think this show is brilliant enough without a bunch of effects. So, there are none, other than some fades in and out in gray scale for when I switched between the present/past. I did not speed up or slow down clips, either. I just tried really hard to get them so they matched the beats...which drove me barmy...so I hope it turns out right! The coloring, as I said in the preview, I'm really proud of as usually I end up being frustrated at how odd mine look. I don't know how I did it, but I think I managed to do a good one this time that really enhanced the beautiful coloring in this show. Oh, and I finally learned how to make a border, LOL.

FEEDBACK: I spent about five weeks on this one so please let me know what you all think. :)

If you are talking about the second of clip where Emma, Henry and David/Charming, it is from the beginning of episode 1x06 when the welcome home party is held for David and he asks Emma and Henry where Mary Margaret is and says they are the only people there he knows. ;) ~ T

Oh gosh, T. This is beautiful! I knew this would be a great video just by watching the preview. The song choice is fantastic, love how much it fits this show. And also love that you chose to focus on this family. All of them are wonderful & I wish we could have them all together as a real family... guess we'll have to wait! Stunning editing, your pace is always so spot on. :D

@Hermy483 A, I'm so glad you like it. I know you love this show, too. Yes, the song is perfect and just a great song. Yes, the family is my favorite part of the show and I wish there were more videos about them (not that I don't love S/C). Be patient. It will happen as it should. I'm glad you liked the editing. I tend to overthink things or obsess on getting it just right...drive myself mad. But, nice to know someone likes my madness. *hugs* T

OMG this was so AMAZING!!!! can't believe i saw this until now!!!! :( i LOVED your editing!!!! LOVED the use of voice overs!!!!!
