@LakeshoreBaby Exactly. However, my point is that people should not sign the contract if they don't understand it, like it, agree with it or want the product any more. I am speaking here to people who DO sign contracts without reading them or without having the contract explained to them.

In Canada the Bill of Exchange Act gives three days to cancel a contract for any reason at all. There's probably an equivalent clause in the US. Also, taking the time to explain the purpose of the contract, all terms point by point, to people, would help them not sign something they don't want, and change things they don't agree with. This is good human relations, helps to build trust with clients, and makes them want to do repeat business with us. "Caveat good business".
What do you do if you don't agree with an article in a contract with the local power grid company? If they say you don't get electricity without the signed contract and they don't want to change the contract?

Hi,
Not sure exactly what point of the contract you're referring to but if there is something you really disagree with, you could touch base with a lawyer before you sign. It is possible that many other don't agree with a point. It is also possible that the language of the contract (being 'legalese') is just hard to understand.
Very important to make sure you understand and agree with the contract though, so yeah, get a lawyer to help.

The key point, however, is that some people can have the contract read to them point by point, sign it and THEN they say "What?"
My point was that people are responsible for what they pursue.
