@jitteryjoe there alright all i am saying is just come to the US. Few of them have suspect records cough cough Hasegawa, koki. But Wonjongkam is the truth.
-
@JcLazy1 Haha this is true. Like when they finally got baseball in, lost twice to the cubans and stopped entering.
But HUGE amounts of funding are still put into it. These asian fighters are legit - they're just not as well guarded by favourable matchmaking.
-
@jitteryjoe Trust me 60% of Americans don't care about the Olympics. Unless where totality domination everybody else we don't care. No American is going to tune in to watch us lose.
-
@JcLazy1 Nooo... floyd fought Hatton in Las Vegas - in a ring that was 3 ft wider than the commission MAXIMUM.
And the olympics? EVERYONE cares about the olympics, and the US pumps money into it like theres no tomoro. Its just hard to admit that in the middle categories the Cuban amateurs are better and in the lower ones the Asians are better.
-
@jitteryjoe what are you talking about Floyd fought in England against Ricky. alot of American boxers fight out the country. Ali, Joe Louis, foremen, Frankie Randell, Hopkins, Roy Jones and many more. As more the Olympics America doesn't not care about the Olympics every knows that.
-
@JcLazy1 Why do American champs only fight in America? Because they suck?
Why does Floyd Mayweather not fight in Europe? Because kidney punches are still legal and his style relies on them not being?
Theres DOZENS of professional boxing champions from the LW divisions of eastern countries - they dont get their matches picked as smart. If the US had anything better to offer at those weights they wouldnt continually lose in the Olympics.

montiel is going to expose this guy
-
@cuzzyjp As far as I know you have to be really good, but it is not impossible, look at Pacquaio...

Professional boxing is a business. It's really difficult for the Japanese boxers to enter the US market say for example. Many Japanese boxers wish to be recognised in the international market, especially the US, but things aren't that easy. Who in the US would pay attention to a "world champ" from a far east unknown country? Who would buy a ticket?

この人の左ストレートからの右フックには、戦慄を覚えます。

He sure is. I think eventually both D.Kameda and Koki will be exposed when they fight better fighters in their weight class.
