I love the original! Though I would recommend seeing both because while the plots are very similar the third acts are very different.

i will admit that the original is technically the better film, but for my money, i would prefer to watch this remake. though he does a fantastic job in Sleuth, olivier is very irritating to me. also, this one is much tighter, not like in 72- so lavish, travelling through a maze of its own originality.

AND, in this film, Jude Law gives one of his best performances. animal! "skullfckingly raw" is the phrase i use most often when describing it. this bit shows how he done lost his mind!

OMG!!!!!! i spazzed out when i saw this in the theatre! i was trying not to completely lose it cuz i was seeing it with my dad but it was soooo hard.

i think steam was rising from my body...
