Totally agree with Sharyn. I say it AppaLATCHun too. It annoys me to hear it pronounced appaLAYchun!!!! But It does depend on what region you are from. But when in the south pronounce it right!!!
Way to exclude the northern Appalachians. Guess I can't trust her. Maybe people in the North can take a little more time to get to know people, then either the Irish, Brit's or the South. I guess people in the North are just nicer.
