Heavy Gear 2 E3 Video

This is an old preview video for the classic mech simulator Heavy Gear 2 from Dream Pod 9 studios and Activison.

The video contains both ingame and CG footage of the game depicting the now united Nothern and Southern Hemisphere forces of Terra Nova fighting back against the Earth invaders.

It's a great game and I would highly recomend it if you can find a copy.

It's a mech simulator, it belongs on the PC. Otherwise it just doesn't seem right. The PS3 doesn't have joystick support either.

a controller rebuilt using the analogue sticks could be done, but aiming would suck without a mouse or ball.

@Two49 Well like @55#0|_35 everyone has their own opinion. HOWEVER, Mech Warrior is pushing that you're in a HUGE robot, where as the Gears are not quite as big. They're more of what I like to call a 'land mate' class mech. closer to the size of what you saw in the Appleseed manga. However they're slightly bigger than most of those too.
