It was great working with everyone and our year was very successful!

Worldwide, there are more than
5,700 Leos clubs. A total of 144,000
young people in 141 countries are proud
to serve others in their local communities
and to call themselves LEOs.

In Lions District 4-C4 (San Francisco to
Palo Alto), there is one Leos Club that
continues to be the benchmark for all Leos
Clubs to follow: Your Millbrae Leos Club!!
Under the visionary guidance of Lion/Leo
Chair Doug Callahan and with the dedicated
support of the Leos Advisors: Lion PP/Leo
Treasurer John Muniz, Lion Bulletin Editor
Wayne Lee and Parent Booster Andy Lee,
the Millbrae Leos have thrived during the
past 3 years since it's "re-birth" in March 2007.
The City and Community of Millbrae have
and will continue to benefit
from the dedicated efforts from our excellent
Millbrae Leos. These young women and men
have demonstrated they can make a difference
in today's challenging and difficult environment.

During this past year (2009-10), we've seen our
Millbrae Leos Leaders and members evolve and
grow to "own" their club, where they guide the
direction of their club.
We would like to Thank Leo 2009-10 President
Jaclyn Chang and her Board of Directors for their
dedication and leadership to our Leos club.
Many of them will move onto college, enjoying new
Experiences, developing new Opportunities and
continue to demonstrate the Leadership to make a
difference in our country! Their future looks very
bright and we want them to remember that their
Leos friends at Millbrae are rooting them for
continued success! We hope they will continue
to come back and visit us share stories and learn
how their young friends have progressed.

The Millbrae Leos leadership torch has been
passed onto 2010-11 Leo President Alex Lee
and his Board of Directors. We look forward
to their leadership, following the roadmap of
success laid out by their predecessors.

It has been and will continue to be an honor
to work with young community leaders, our
Millbrae Leos!

Since our first meeting in March of 2007,
the Millbrae Lions Leo's Club has come a long way.
I am so proud and honored to be in on the ground floor
with Lion Doug Callahan who spearheaded the re-activation
of our Leo Club after a twenty plus year dormancy. I know the
young men and women of the Millbrae Lions Leo Club have
worked diligently to be recognized by all as the top youth
organizations in our community and in our Lions District.

Our Leo's have gained valuable skills in leadership, community
service, and fellowship that will remain with them throughout
their lives. Our Leo's have proven that the youth of today can
make a difference in our community and society.

A big "thank you" to our Leo Chairperson, Lion Doug Callahan
for his time and dedication in molding our Leo organization to
what it is today. Also, "thank you" to our parent advisors,
Lion Calvin Chin, Lion Wayne Lee and Andy Lee for their
mentorship rolls by taking time to guide the youth of our
community and getting involved with the Leo's. We must also
recognize our Leo members for their dedication to community
awareness and service.
In these difficult and challenging times, it is our duty to ensure
our youth have every opportunity to develop into intelligent,
motivated leaders that will be able to meet the future needs
of our community and country.
