I believe in choice. good for her. she weighted things out and decided that she had enough help to endure a pregnancy and finish school. she was able to enjoy a happily ever after. the world is dark, ugly and judgmental place for the single mom. her story is rare.

It's ironic that pro-CHOICERS often love to give women a limited choice, by offering them the false dilemma of, "either kill a life, or ruin yours." People like to say that they are pro-choice not pro abortion, but when a woman chooses life, sometimes pro-choicers have a problem w/ that choice.

I find myself agreeing with what she said in a pragmatic sense- in that certainly we should do all we can to minimise the causes for women feeling that they have to abort. However at the same time, life isn't fair- especially in cases where it most needs to be, and even in those cases where it isn't, there is still a child there and both parents have a responsibility to that child to protect love and nurture it, even if it's just them, or just the mother, literally against the entire world.

Ann Lowrey Forster's testimony is so powerful. Thank you. At 0:31, FFL is "dedicated to systematically eliminating the root causes that drive women to abortion". That's right...and let's promote safe and efficient family planning so the woman is not in the dilema in the first place. Yes to pro-life legislation. But such legislation is somewhat hollow, unless we change hearts, minds and consciences.

It is so uplifting to hear from a young woman who accepts responsibility for her acts. You deserve all the unexpected joys your unplanned little one brought you.
