All the in game sequences for this title were created in four weeks inclusive of design, animation, compositing, editing and post sound. To hit the deadline animation was created by Jim Bowers during the day while I composited during the night and then traveled to the sound studio in Manchester to over see the audio. This pattern was repeated solidly over the next 28 days. Because render times on the animation were so high even with an Onyx it became necessary to come up with clever ways to repurpose the animation to create fresh shots, this is most apparent with the in cockpit shots.
