Would I be way off thinking that the Mudhoney has a more organic sound, vintage but the SuperPlex may be a little more versatile? Definitely has a more modern sound to me. Not sure which I prefer though.

Hi! To my ears Wampler is more modern sound than the Rex. Mudhoney is more like a surgical fuzz (in boost mode) IMO.
Wampler is my favorite (today :))
