"Everything" drama - song by Lifehouse
Performed by the NewLife Fellowship teens at Pastor Romy's church (Christian Fellowship Church International).
I (Melinda) play the main girl, who sort of represents all of humanity...the guy in white (Abel) represents God/Jesus, and the others all represent different sins or temptations, like lust (Ben), money (Alex), drinking (Vi-an), vanity and eating disorders (Gelli), cutting (Deanna), and suicide.
Other "Everything" dramas that I've been in - search for "Everything drama - Lifehouse - SEP Version" (that was the first one I was in, where I play the main girl), or "Everything drama - Lifehouse - LA Church Version" (the second one I was in, where I played the drunk girl and directed the whole thing).
A lot of people have been asking how we learned this and how they can too: The way we learned it was by having someone be our director (me, in this case) who just watched other videos of this drama over and over, studied them, and took notes on them. From our director and her notes, we learned to do the whole thing. You can easily do it yourself...don't bother asking around for a "script" or something. If you want to learn it and teach a group, just watch a few different versions of this. Pick the parts you like best about each, and make it your own version. Then take some detailed notes that include cues on when each character comes in and does what (this is especially important for the Jesus character, because he needs to know when to "create" what so that the whole thing goes at the right pace)...and then you'll do great!! :) For those of you reproducing this, I hope everything goes great and God uses you all to really reach people! ^_^
Remember, God is always with you, even if it seems like He's not. All you have to do is reach out for Him. :)
Acts 17:26-28 (The Message Version)
"Starting from scratch, God made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn't play hide-and-seek with us. He's not remote; he's near. We live and move in him, can't get away from him! One of your poets said it well: 'We're the God-created.'"
i saw some people performing that at a christian camp i went to for 5 days... it really moved me then.. and it did on this one as well, it was absolutely brilliant! But
the thing is, I'm going through two of those situations and i dont know how i can get away from them. It's so hard... and I don't know what to do really...
But well done on the Skit anyway :)

alk with someone older that you trust about it...like your parents, a Christian friends' parents, or a pastor or youth pastor. you can't get over something like that alone. you really need to be seeking God, praying, reading the Bible, etc to get his help for you to overcome the problem. and of course, you need willpower. i know you can do it if you trust God and do what you know he wants you to do!

I really like this skit. It just seems like it's all rather rushed. I find that moving slower and letting the situation sink in to the minds of the audience has more impact. Also, when doing human videos it's always important to move with the music.
