Sonic Final Boss Glitch

Before you give Robotinik the final blow, go to the right of the screen( it´s easier to do it there), and make sure you hit him on his way up. He will start to explode, and you can notice that he will move slower while exploding. Now walk towards him, and you will be pushing him now. This needs a good timing now. While pushing him, jump again and you will notice that you hit him again. Voila! He is back and better than before, cause you won´t be able to kill him again unless you die and start all over.

Its not that hard to pull off the glitch as it happened to me all the time when I was a kid

It happened with me a lot back then by accident (playing on a sega genesis in the early 90s). The whole point of this video is just explaining how and why it happened.

Actually he does die. There must be some counter variable that goes to 0 on that last hit. Since you can hit him again, it probably goes to something like 255, making him resume his "alive" condition.

actually you can kill him again you just have to be jesus because it resets his hit counter to something like 250 and there for you wont beat him within the time limit

Uh oh, Robuttnik has invicibility! This glitch made me think twice before ever adding insult to injury after defeating a game Boss. Except Black from Gunstar Heroes, you can nock him around all day long if you like:)
