Enable 480p and use the arrow icon! "Send the Marines" is now REPUBLISHED yet another time to celebrate a lot of video views for the first two versions published to YouTube. Why? Well, to offer the song in (even) slightly better quality. Use HQ if possible and play back the video on a single YouTube page to get a bigger video window. The older versions will stay on the channel.
"Send the Marines" -- with Lehrer mocking the peaceful American foreign policy -- will never be outdated, which of course is sad. But it's reassuring to know that (at least) some Americans were aware of their role as the world police, even in the 1950's and 60's.
In 2008 Lehrer really said "OK" to "The Tom Lehrer Wisdom Channel" on YouTube, as long as the performance is not altered and as long as it's free in the YouTube flash video format. You should buy the original video from that new DVD, here:

So I had to create a social studies lesson using music for my methods class and I got this crazy idea to use this and "Who's Next" to teach about the Cold War and Vietnam. I got an A. Apparently my professor appreciates satire. :)
