Part 1/6

Communist regimes around the Globe are responsible for a greater number of deaths than any other political ideal or movement, including Nazism (death toll totals more than 94 million people). In the USSR alone communists killed more than 20 million people. Despite that Western world refuse to accept the fact that their Allie, the Soviet Union in fact committed war crimes and genocide even larger in scale than that of Nazi regime.

Communism - the extraordinary social experiment promising equality and freedom swept from Russia around the world. In the early days hopes were high, but in the end the story of Communism is one of grim realities. Listen as people from behind the Iron Curtain tell how their lives were affected by this new world order, from the storming of the Winter Palace in Tzarist Russia in 1917 to the swift implosion of communist regimes around the world in the 1980s.

This first video of the series is called "Red Flag" and it's about the Bolshevik revolution in Russia.

  • Ask yourself: If the USSR was so perfect why there was absolutely ZERO reaction from any citizen when it dissolved?? Just a failed coup which didn't even had any conflicts, that was led by someone who wanted to take over power as usual. Also go to Russia and tell them that the USSR was good. You will be dead in 5 minutes.

  • @MrMcGale Communism will always leed to authoritarian corrupted regimes. That is because it claims that its the ultimate destination of humanity, and demands every citizen to accept it. Dissidents are always killed off. There must be a reason why EVERY commuist regime ended or mutated to Manchester Capitalism or plain old dictatorship, Korea style.

  • @MrMcGale "the whole idea of the Revolution is not to only evolve the world, it needs to transform the humans. Friendship is not owned, gifts are not owned, love is not owned, freedom is not owned"?

YES they are owned, as they are something that an individual possess's! Marx decrees like you said the "need to transform humans" by taking away people's FREEDOM to mould them into good servants of the state! The state tells you what to think, who your friends are, who you can love and what to love!

  • "Free Territory, the Paris Commune, Catalonia, Early-on Castro's Cuba"? VERY POOR examples! The Paris Commune was mostly run by Social Democrats who's policies would not seem out of place in most western European countries today and "Early-on Castro's Cuba"? WTF? Castro MURDERED people who did'nt agree with him! Who voted for him?

"the only Capitalist nation on earth is Somalia"? I won't even comment on this retarded statement! Fact is, North Korea and Cuba are the only commie countries left!

  • @Faighbas Free Territory, the Paris Commune, Catalonia, Early-on Castro's Cuba. Also, the only Capitalist nation on earth is Somalia. Isn't it a wonderful place? Those nations are Authoritarian Socialists/State-Capitalists. Not Communist.

Oh I know that. Manipulation. But the whole idea of the Revolution is not to only evolve the world, it needs to transform the humans. Friendship is not owned, gifts are not owned, love is not owned, freedom is not owned. C'mon, base some facts.

  • @MrMcGale COMMUNISM DOES'NT WORK!!! FACT!!!

Show me just one example of communism EVER being successful!

If Communism is such a great system, then why do these regimes have to build walls and minefields with armed guards that shoot people on site that try to escape to the "evil" capitalist countries???

BTW! You don't need to have money to be greedy! There will always be someone that wants to possess something that they themselves do not have, be it friendship, gifts, love or FREEDOM!!!

  • @EpicFilip A) No, most of them didn't. Mao did at first, but he changed his mind.

    B) Lenin and Guevara were the only ones that tried.

From the people, to the people. Also, Free Territory was economically powerful, though it was Communist. You see, those people didn't understand that Communism cannot just become, it needs to be achieved through Socialism, then Direct Democracy, and after that, Communism. And wrong. Did a caveman have money? Nope.- He also did not have greed, but companionship.

  • @MrMcGale All those things, they did those:

a)Because they wanted to do this??

b)Because they tried to do all the good things you mentioned and they failed??

Also, "from each according to his ability to each according to their needs" is a flawed and terrible principle. Communist countries were poor because there was not one good reason to be a producer in a communist society. Civilization was created because man wanted more than a cave, a hut, his continent. Not out of benevolence.

  • @EpicFilip They weren't. Capital Punishment, Direct Democracy, no state, no vanguard party, no money, no private enterprise, no authority of one man, no secret police, free and compulsory education, pacifism and anti-militarism, Laicism, freedom of individuals, people can won houses, from each according to his ability to each according to their needs, the collective theory, nationalized bank, public government.

They didn't follow these things, and were no Communists.

  • @MrMcGale For fuck sake. I KNOW that they weren't communists by definition, they were a strange mix of two failures-- But they wanted to do what Marx wrote about. It might shock you, but what the man you worship wrote might be wrong *GASP!*. His shitty book (that I read) is just that. A book. Not depicting reality. Completely ignoring the technical details and difficulties, he created a outopia --in his book. And what those who sought to fulfill his dream brought, was the Dark Ages.

  • @EpicFilip Utopian communism? You must be speaking of Marxism, true Communism. In true Communism, there are no leaders, no state.

Yes, I know. But those people(Lenin, Guevara, Mao) did not understand that to achieve Communism, you must first go through Socialism, and then slowly towards Communism. They did not read Marx's books.

    No. Death Penalty is murder.

Stalin wasn't a Communist, USSR was State-Capitalist Authoritarian, Not Communist.

To understand Communism, you must read Marx.
